As part of a reshuffle, the tourism bodies VisitBritain and VisitEngland were merged. Consequently, there was no longer a requirement for two separate corporate websites - and it was therefore decided that the two would be merged into the existing visitbritain.org Drupal platform.
Redesign of the VisitBritain.org homepage and a number of other key pages to bring the two brands together, along with migrate content from VisitEngland to the VisitBritain Drupal platform.
Tasked with a very tight turn around, we got to work merging VisitEngland content seamlessly into the existing VisitBritain.org website.
Drawing on thoughts from both teams, we proposed a refreshed design that would reflect the shift in direction. It was also a great opportunity to take inspiration from the VB Annual Review 2015-16 microsite that we had developed in late 2015.
Despite the challenges of time, the end result was a fantastic achievement & successfully integrates what were two separate websites into one, very visually pleasing, website!
