About Zoocha

Founded in 2009, Zoocha is a leading Drupal specialist digital agency based in the UK, with offices in Spain and Brazil. With a team of over 80 passionate thinkers, makers and doers working across a range of disciplines including UX, strategy, design, development, hosting, project management and support.

Your remit

We’re looking for a real team player who’s able to work collaboratively with our Experience and Development team, to design a wide range of audience-centred experiences, including websites, native mobile apps, and across global design systems. You should also be comfortable working independently across projects from concept to delivery.

 

Expectations

This is a hybrid working role but with an expectation that you’ll be based at our Hertford office at least two days per week. Some travel to clients is also expected.

 

Mandatory requirements:

  • Based in the UK, ideally within regular commuting distance of our Hertford office
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • You MUST have a VISA or work permit already
  • You MUST NOT apply through a recruitment consultant as your application will be disregarded

What we’re looking for from you:

  • We’re looking for at least 3 - 4 years’ agency experience designing digital products
  • Exceptional UI design craft paired with an understanding of UX principles
  • You must have a strong design process, with an ability to create high level concepts to shape a design direction to present to clients
  • You must be comfortable engaging senior client stakeholders, leading/ facilitating client workshops & co-design sessions to get buy in and progress through to the final product
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Create, maintain and evolve design systems that gives the client a flexible and scalable digital solution and that works across multiple platforms and devices
  • Must be proficient in Figma, design systems and prototyping
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, marketers, and product managers
  • Be comfortable presenting ideas and creative concepts to clients and peers
  • Passionate about improving work quality and pushing boundaries
  • A good commercial awareness, helping ensure work is delivered on time within budget
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts easily to people from other disciplines and backgrounds
  • Must have a strong portfolio of design projects

 

Nice-to-have experience:

  • Motion design and interaction skills
  • Mobile app experience - Native apps / Flutter
  • Experience with user research and usability testing
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
