Walkabout are a chain of authentic Australian themed bars hosting live sports, music and entertainment. A popular venue with many, particularly student crowds, they manage 35 venues nationwide and are considered a home away from home to many of the Australian staff who work there to bring the brand to life.
Walkabout approached Zoocha for assistance with brand management, customer targeting, strategic marketing campaigns and assistance with their unique online community for loyalty card holders. We have also been tasked with designing multiple creative artworks to be housed on the Walkabout community home site, with the overall aim of promoting specific events and offers to registered Boomerang card holders and other visitors to the site.
Zoocha worked closely alongside two external agencies in creating and producing the design for the Walkabout community site. The involvement of work for Zoocha included working on the brand identity with their creative team, building and formatting a design into a layout that would work consistently for each page within the website, before delivering the finished creative to the platform provider.
Zoocha have also independently produced an array of creative artwork for use in banners and scrolling carousel images to promote key events listings, promotions and collaborations to the Walkabout home site. In each case, this involved adhering to the brands established guidelines, and in the case of collaborations working to incorporate multiple brand specifications, whilst still creating eye catching promotional material which remains consistent with the brand image and reputation. This artwork has been so successful that it is displayed digitally on Walkabout’s home page, as well as being used in venue.
