Multiyork are one of the UK’s best known furniture retailers, with a heritage and provenance in hand crafted and tailor made sofas and furniture. With over 55 stores nationwide, Multiyork were looking to upgrade their ecommerce website with a more modern design, improved category listings and product navigation toolbars, and a more flexible platform to manage content, pricing and promotions.
The task was to project manage the complete overhaul of the website, from design concepts to re-platforming (including re-structuring the category hierarchy and writing new content). An added challenge was the aim to complete the process in under 10 weeks.
Working closely with the senior management team at Multiyork, a new platform was agreed which met all the criteria, i.e. budget, implementation timescale, functionality and scalability. Zoocha mapped out a project road map and critical path, and managed the project through a series of client meetings and conference calls.
The key deliverables for the project were:
- New design for every page of the website
- New product navigation structure
- Migration to new platform
Zoocha successfully launched the new website ahead of schedule and with instantly improved conversion rates.
