The FuturICT flagship proposal intends to unify hundreds of the best scientists in Europe in a 10 year 1 billion EUR program to explore social life on earth and everything it relates to. The ultimate goal of the FuturICT flagship project is to understand and manage complex, global, socially interactive systems, with a focus on sustainability and resilience.
Brief
FuturICT were searching for an agency who could provide User Experience (UX), Corporate Design and Drupal website development expertise for a large scale European project. They key stakeholders would be based across various European Countries and so the agency had the appropriate experience working with remote parties.
Solution
We conducted workshops with the key stakeholders of the FuturICT project to understand the key objectives and target audience of the content, and through an iterative approach drew up a set of wireframes. These were then turned into final designs that would appeal to the target audience of the FuturICT project – scientific, corporate & clean, work set about on creating a Drupal 7 powered website.
